“If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story.” -Orson Welles

During freshman orientation, we had one ceremony called "Tradition of Honor." We sat outside the porch of Main Hall and took a pledge to honor. All of the orientation leaders said it was so significant because you started your time outside of Main Hall and you would end your time outside of Main Hall with graduation. On that day, I pictured myself graduating and getting my diploma. I never thought I would transfer. Well, this is it...my last day in Virginia. I've been trying to decide what to write my last blog on for my Virginia experience. I could go on forever about my countless experiences. I could talk about the fact that finals were insanely crazy. I could talk about some adventures I've had over the past few days. But, none of those represent what Virginia was for me. Virginia was the opportunity to meet wonderful people. The people at  the school makes it great. My heart is just so full of gratitude for all of the people I have been so honored to meet. S...

There are twenty other things I should be doing other than blogging. I should be writing my paper that's due tomorrow. I should be taking my online test that's due. I should be studying for finals. The only thing is I can't focus on anything today. All day I have been thinking about leaving beautiful Virginia and today I just really don't want to. It's the last day of classes. I should be super excited about how summer is right around the corner but I'm not. For me summer comes with heartbreak. I don't want to leave my friends here. I seriously have met some of the most amazing people here. I would list them but  there are too many people to list. Everyone here is just so amazing. I am so grateful I have had the chance to meet everyone. I don't want to leave everyone after knowing them for only a year. I feel robbed. I am trying to think about how awesome Utah is going to be but that doesn't change the fact that I'm just going to miss everyone h...

"Wherever you go, go with all your heart." -Confucius

So I have found a place to live next year! I am super excited about it. Here's the story. Originally I was planning to live on-campus. I know that only freshmen lived there but I wanted to be on-campus to just get situated. After all, the freshman would only be a year younger than me. I had rationalized all of the cons in my mind flawlessly. My housing registration date is tomorrow at 4:00 pm. However, when I got on to check on Wednesday the place I wanted to live in  had totally filled up. Lame! So then I decided I would live in another on-campus housing option. It's still on-campus housing, but it's like an apartment. Well then I got on Friday to check and  had filled up! Double lame! So all that left one on-campus option. Those rooms are just like dorm rooms. I wouldn't have a kitchen and  I wouldn't even have my own bathroom. So I decided I was going to look off-campus. That's when I texted my friend Kelli. She had already told me about living with her but...
